In a way, the original generation of the covenant were all converts, so we converts are in good company. Is Moshiach descending from a convert the connection between the message being accepted by the rest of the world, without Judaism needing to actively proselytize? (I hope that doesn’t sound wrong.)
ReplyDeleteNot sure. Moshiach is descended from a convert - Ruth - and a born Jew - Boaz, I think. Maybe that has some meaning too.
